Fit Foodie: Meal prep has forced its way back in.

I have not been posting lately regarding our family’s fit foodie adventures but we have still been venturing outside the comfort zones.  Recently though, I have been indulging almost completely in my Christmas gift from my in-laws, the Skinnytaste Cookbook.

NO BAKE BANANA BREAD BITES (PALEO, VEGAN, GLUTEN FREE)

No Bake Banana Bread Bites (Paleo, Vegan, Gluten Free)

Nutella Granola Bars (recipe originally from a friend)

  • 2 cups oats
  • 1 cup nutella
  • ½ cup honey
  • ½ cup applesauce
  • 1 cup protein powder (unflavored or vanilla)
  • 1 Tbsp cinnamon
  • 1 Tbsp chia seed

Directions

  1. Oats spread on pan and roasted in oven without oil for 10 mins
  2. Preheat oven to 350
  3. Combine all ingredients
  4. Spread on cookie sheet with parchment paper on it
  5. Bake for 15-20 minutes
  6. Let cool completely before cutting
  7. Store in the refrigerator
