Now that the secret is out, I can return to my fit blogging without being ashamed of my habits. I will admit that the last few weeks have been filled with eating anything that would stay down. They have not been the healthiest of choices but sometimes you just do what you have to to get it done! I have stopped my food diary on MyFitnessPal also. I’m afraid that if I concentrate too much on the calories that I won’t get enough for a healthy mommy & baby.
BUT (have nots)… I have not stopped running! I am still registered for both the MCM 17.75K and the Run like a Diva Half Marathon! I still do my nightly routine of push-ups, tricep push-ups and a variety of other exercises.
In the past, I have never felt quite happy with my body during a pregnancy. I chalked it up to it is what it is for a healthy baby. I have never gained more than 26 lbs of pregnancy weight but that was simply because I was already overweight and the doctors told me that I had no choice. Since this is our last addition, I want to make the most of my pregnancy. I want to be proud of my belly AND my body. Healthy mommy. Healthy baby.
