DIY Remote Control Holder
I don’t know about you but I’ve noticed that I always lose the remote. Well I’ve always lost the remote. It progressively got worse after kids. Why do kids think that remotes are toy phones? Ok…off track but yah. I was having trouble finding a basic holder to make, so I decided to just figure out!
- Front fabric either 1/2 yard or 2/3 yard depending on the direction of the print
- Back fabric either 1/2 yard or 2/3 yard depending on the direction of the print.
- Pocket fabric either 1/4 yard or 1/2 yard depending on the direction of the print
- 12″ dowel
– 13″ x 22″ front fabric
– 13″ x 22″ back fabric
– 13″ x 9″ pocket fabric
Sew 1/2″ of the top of the pocket down.
Place the pocket down on the front fabric.
Pin in place with pinning the stitch line to separate the pocket.
Sew the line.
Pin the back fabric onto the front/pocket fabric pieces. Be sure that they are place print side in.
Sew 1/2″ along the two long edges and the short edge without the pocket.
Turn right side out.
Place in 12″ rod.
Sew rod in place.
Close the bottom.
