I haven’t had the time to sit down and do this but it is well overdue! With all the hard work and crazy scheduling going on in this house the hubby decided to treat me to a week of a little pampering.
Monday…I started my week of with a day of no work! That morning I sat down and relaxed. No business…no emails…no conversations…just coffee and quiet. It was joyous!
Tuesday…I had a massage appointment with Southern Comfort Massage. It had been a good while since I had had a massage. If I had to try to remember I’d say fall of 2007 when I was pregnant with my son. It was well overdue. Heather was very accommodating and welcoming. She spent the entire hour on my neck and back at my request. It was amazing. I had been having a good deal of headaches and trouble sleeping. By later that evening, my headache had eased up. And I slept through the entire night. Heather is an awesome massage therapist!
Wednesday…I brought my 2 year old to pre-school and headed home to meet Yvonne from Yvonne’s Services. She came in to do a deep cleaning on our apartment. We had moved in when baby girl was first born and honestly with always having everything going on we were able to keep with everything on the surface but could never find the time to get down to the nitty gritty. Yvonne came in and did a fantastic job! It felt so good to not have dust on our wall pictures and the counters to get a nice scrub. After she left, I felt so relieved…it was like a 1000 lbs were lifted off my shoulders. Everything smelled and looked great!
Thursday…I met up with friends to let the kiddies play at the park and got my much need adult conversation time!
Friday…Started to slowly get myself back on track with my orders.
Saturday…my cherry on the top. A friend and I walked out of our houses…kidless. We headed to a nail salon and got hot stone pedicures. It was the greatest thing ever. From there we went to eat without interrupted conversations, baby wiping faces, and requesting ten stacks of napkins.
